Taking kids to camping for first time

We're attempting our first family camping trip with kids ages 4 and 7. Borrowed a tent, got some sleeping bags. We're only going like 45 minutes away at a local park to keep it low pressure. Any rookie mistakes I should avoid? What's the one thing everyone forgets?

That's awesome man, 45 minutes away is perfect for a first trip. My kids loved camping at that age, just bring way more snacks than you think you'll need and you'll be golden.
