Taught my 12 year old how to cook pasta this morning
Super simple right, just boil water and dump in noodles. But he was so focused on doing it right, asking me questions about the water temperature and salt ratios. Made this marinara sauce together and he served it to the whole family for lunch. His face when everyone said it was really good, man that hit different. Thinking about making this a regular thing where he plans and cooks one meal a week.
Simple pasta seems easy until they're actually doing it and suddenly they're worried about everything. Did he nail it or did you have to rescue the batch?
