Took the boys camping for the first time

We went to Bear Lake for 3 days and it was way better than expected. Caught some decent sized trout with my oldest and the little one just wanted to throw rocks the whole time which honestly was fine by me. Only downside was forgetting the propane for the camp stove so we did everything over the fire. Next time I'm making a checklist because this brain is fried.

First camping trip success is huge. Three days is a solid run too, not too short and they don't get bored.

Bear Lake is beautiful. Did the boys handle the whole 3 days pretty well or were there rough patches?

Bear Lake is such a good first camping spot. Glad it went well. Those trout are no joke either.

This right here. Getting them out there early and letting them catch actual fish. That's memories being made. How long before you can take them again?
