Trying to finally learn how to make pasta from scratch
Making it sound easier than it probably is. I've got the recipes and a pasta maker attachment for my stand mixer. Planning to do a simple egg pasta tomorrow and maybe try some pappardelle. The wife wants me to make lasagna eventually so I figured I'd start here. Any common mistakes I should know about before I screw this up?
Nice, simple egg pasta is the way to start. Once you nail that you can play around with other stuff, but those basic recipes are solid for getting the technique down.
