Update: built a 3-level bunkbed and didn't break anything

lol so a few weeks ago I posted here panicking because I was about to build a custom bunkbed for my kids' room. I was worried about stability, whether they'd actually use it, all that. Well, it's done and standing. My 8yo and 10yo are obsessed. I made it out of 2x4s, added storage underneath, painted it, the whole thing. Took longer than expected (when does it not?) but they're sleeping in it now and it freed up SO much floor space. Biggest fear was them jumping off and breaking something but they've been surprisingly careful. Highly recommend if you've got multiple kids in one room.
