Update: son's baseball team actually won their tournament

My 9yo has been playing travel ball this year and honestly? It's been a time investment I wasn't sure about. 6am practices, weekend tournaments 2 hours away.

They just won their regional tournament. Kid was beaming. Pitched the final game. We stayed at a hotel, got crappy breakfast before heading home.

Still exhausting, but worth it. He's actually thinking about his future differently now. Pretty cool to watch.
