UPDATED: Backyard zip line is finally done!

Remember when I posted about building a zip line last month and everyone said I was insane? Well, here we are. Used a pulley system from Tree Climbers Inc (not cheap, $180), ran it between two trees about 60 feet apart with a slight downward slope. Took me like 6 weekends to get it right but my kids (12, 14) have invited over like 30 of their friends at this point. They're taking turns and having the time of their lives. Zero regrets. Would do again.

The Tree Climbers Inc pulley system is solid but that's genuinely expensive for a backyard setup. Tell us it actually works and the kids love it or else this is the most expensive dad lesson ever

Respect the follow-up update but also I need to know: did your wife make you get permits or insurance or did you just full send it? Because that's the real story here
