Anyone else struggling with the guilt when working from home?
I'm in my home office like 15 feet away from my kids but I can't just drop everything every time they want to show me their drawing or ask a question. My son asked me why I couldn't watch his Roblox stream while I was 'literally right there' and it broke me a little. How do you guys handle this? I don't want them thinking I'm ignoring them but I also have actual work deadlines.
Man I deal with this constantly. I'm literally steps away from my kids all day but somehow I feel like I'm neglecting them if I don't drop everything. It's brutal on the mental side.
I felt every word of this. The proximity makes it harder not easier. You're doing fine though. Work is work even if you're home.
