Anyone use Toggl Track for time blocking with kids at home?
I've been using this app to actually SEE where my time goes when I'm trying to work and parent simultaneously. It's kind of eye-opening seeing that I spent 1.5 hours yesterday on actual work tasks across a 9-hour day at home. The free version is solid enough. Highly recommend if you're struggling to understand why nothing gets done when the kids are around.
This is smart. I did this for one week and realized I was context-switching every 12 minutes. Moved all my actual work to 6-7am before the kids were up and it changed everything. The visibility is the first step.
Toggl is the reality check app. Once you see you spent 45 mins on "quick tasks" that were actually 15 different interruptions, you start protecting your time differently. Did you end up scheduling blocks?
