Our company just partnered with this flex-work platform and I'm thinking about setting up a Tue/Wed/Thu in-office schedule. Has anyone here used it? Worried about whether employers actually respect it or if it's just a box they tick.
Just make sure your commute/schedule actually improves your time with your kids. Some people set up flex work and then just work more from home instead of getting those afternoons back. Be intentional about how you use that time
Tue/Wed/Thu is actually the best schedule for flex work because you're there mid-week but have a clear Monday/Friday pattern. Don't do Mon/Tue/Wed because then people will ask you to add Thursdays
lol employers "respect" it on the contract and then slowly ask you to come in Mondays and Fridays. The real test is whether YOUR manager is actually cool with it or if you're just going with corporate policy. Have that conversation directly

Haven't used Bamboo specifically but the Tue/Wed/Thu schedule is solid. Gives you some flexibility but also shows up in person regularly enough that they see your face. The key is actually following through on your in-office days
The issue with flex platforms is that they're only as good as your company culture. If your workplace already values output over face time, you're golden. If they're old school about butts in seats, no platform will change that
