Back to office 3 days a week starting Monday. How do I tell my boss I need flexibility?
Been remote for 2 years and my kids have adjusted so well. Now company wants everyone back 3 days minimum. My oldest has soccer practice on Wednesdays and I'm the one who handles school pickup on Tuesdays. I don't want to be that guy but I also don't want to miss out on my kids growing up. Anyone have experience pushing back on return to office mandates without looking like you're not committed?
The flexibility conversation is huge. I'd frame it around what actually matters to your company - deliverables and quality work, not butts in seats. Remote has been great for my kids too and honestly the commute time back was killing me mentally.
