Career advancement vs being present

Got offered a promotion that would mean traveling 2-3 weeks a month. More money, more responsibility, the thing I've been working toward for years. But my youngest is only 4 and I just made it to soccer practice for the first time in his life last week. My wife is supportive but I can see the stress on her face. I know I can't have it all but man does it suck choosing between ambition and being there. I told them I need to think about it. Am I being dumb? This might not come around again.
