Career advancement vs being present

Got offered a promotion that would be basically a dream job but it would require more travel and longer hours. My kids are 2 and 5 and they're at that age where they actually want to hang out with me. If I take this job I feel like I'm going to miss so much. But turning it down feels like I'm letting fear make my decisions. Anyone else wrestle with this? Would love to hear how you handled it.
