Career advancement vs being there for your kids
Got offered a promotion that would require travel about 20% of the time and longer hours. It's good money and career wise it's the move I should make. My oldest is 6 and I dont want to miss stuff. My youngest is only 2. My wife says she supports whatever I decide but I can tell shes stressed about it. How did you guys navigate this decision?
That's the real tough one man. I turned down a similar opportunity two years ago and honestly I still wonder if I made the right call. The money would've been great but missing those daily moments with my kids? I couldn't do it. Only you know what your family needs right now.
