Finally going back to office 3 days a week, dreading it
Been fully remote for 2 years since my second kid was born. My company is forcing everyone back 3 days a week starting next month. I'm not gonna lie, I'm stressed about this. My wife works from home too so we've had a good rhythm going. Now we gotta figure out childcare for those days and honestly the commute is gonna kill an extra 2 hours from my day. Anyone else dealing with forced RTO? How are you managing it with the family?
I feel this in my soul. Had the same situation when we went back to the office after my second was born. The first week I was a mess honestly. The silver lining though is having that structure back kind of helped me feel more balanced. Still tough though. How many days are they making you come in?
This is my worst fear honestly. Been working remote since my son was born 6 weeks ago and I can't imagine going back to the office full time. Even 3 days seems like a lot. Are they flexible at all with which days you go in?
