Finally got approved for 3 months paternity leave and I'm terrified
So the company approved my request and I start in 2 weeks. Should be excited right? But honestly I'm freaking out. My boss made it clear that a junior dev is taking my projects and I'm worried they'll realize they don't need me. Plus I've been the provider for so long that being home full time with the baby feels weird. Anyone else gone through this? How do you stop your brain from spiraling about job security when you're trying to bond with your kid?
3 months is amazing and honestly the scared feeling means you care. You're going to do great. Just surrender to the chaos of it instead of trying to control it.
