First week back after paternity leave and I'm struggling

Took 8 weeks off for my third kid. First week back at the office and I feel like I'm missing everything. Texts from my wife all day about stuff the baby did, and I'm stuck in back to back meetings about quarterly projections that frankly don't matter as much as my son's first smile. How did you guys handle this transition? Does it get easier?
