Going back to office 3 days a week and I'm dreading it
Been working from home for almost 2 years since my daughter was born and my company just announced everyone needs to be in office Mon Wed Fri. I can make the logistics work with my wife's schedule but I'm going to miss having lunch with my kid and being here if something happens at school. Anyone else dealing with this transition? How do you adjust your brain to not being home?
Ugh 3 days is rough. I went through this last year and what helped was getting my daycare provider dialed in with the new schedule early. The kids adapt faster than we do honestly.
What's your wife's situation? Maybe you can stagger your office days so one of you is always home. I know that's not always possible but worth exploring before you go full in on the 3 day grind.
