Got offered remote work permanently and now I'm panicked

Been working from home past year and half due to covid and thought I wanted this. Company wants me to stay remote full time. Now I'm worried about my kids seeing me as always available, blurred lines between work and home, missing office culture. Wife thinks I'm crazy for hesitating. Is anyone else remote full time and how do you make it work without going insane?

I get the panic, man. Remote work seems perfect until you realize the lines between home and work blur completely. Before you commit, maybe test out a hybrid situation first if they'll allow it?

I've been working overtime for years to give my kids everything, and honestly I'd kill for the remote option. But I hear you on the worry part. What specifically are you most concerned about with being home full time?
