Got passed over for promotion - now what?

Found out today that the promotion I was gunning for went to someone who's been here less time than me. My boss said I'm a great performer but I don't have the 'leadership visibility' right now. Pretty sure that means I'm not staying late and doing weekend work anymore because I have a family. I'm frustrated but also not sure if I want to sacrifice more time with my kids to prove something to corporate. Anyone been through this? Do I fight for it or just accept it and move on?
