Guilt about loving my job

I gotta be honest, I actually love my work and I'm good at it. I get energized by it. But sometimes I feel like I'm supposed to hate my job and only care about my kids. My wife is SAH with the kids and she seems to expect me to be miserable at work and desperate to leave. When I talk about a big project I'm excited about she gets quiet. I do spend time with the kids but I also really value my career and it doesn't make me a bad dad. Am I crazy for wanting to be fulfilled at work too?
