How do you guys handle stress from work without taking it out on family?
Rough day at the office today. Client blew up a deal last minute, had to scramble all afternoon. Get home and my 4 year old wants to play and my wife needs to talk about her day and I just want to sit in silence for an hour. I know they don't deserve my mood but I'm exhausted. What's your strategy here? Do you go to the gym, take a walk, change clothes, what works?
Rough days happen to all of us. I hit my limit yesterday and came home ready to blow. Ended up taking a walk around the neighborhood for 20 minutes before going inside. Helps reset the brain before you see the family.
