Just got approved for 12 weeks paternity leave and I'm nervous

Finally convinced my company to let me take the full time instead of just 2 weeks. Part of me is excited to be home with the baby but part of me is freaking out about what my team will think or if I'll fall behind. Anyone else dealt with this? How did you stay relevant when you came back?

Congrats on getting the time approved, that's huge. The work stress will fade pretty quick once you're actually home with the little one. Those 12 weeks go by faster than you'd think so just soak it in.

That nervous feeling is totally normal man. I took the full 12 weeks and honestly the first week I felt like I didn't know what I was doing, but by week 3 I was running the household like I invented it. You got this.
