Just got back from paternity leave and honestly dreading it
Took 4 weeks off when my second was born and it was amazing. Now I'm back to the office 3 days a week and some days I feel like I'm just going through the motions. The weird part is I actually miss my kids during the day but when I get home I'm too tired to really be present with them. Anyone else deal with this guilt? Like I'm failing at both fronts right now.
Three days a week is still a lot to adjust to after being home. I get that going through the motions feeling - it'll click back into place soon enough, just give yourself some grace during the adjustment.
