Just started remote work and it's a game changer

I can have lunch with my family now which sounds simple but man it's been huge. I'm actually present for the middle of their day instead of just sprinting in at dinner time. Productivity is up too which is weird, maybe I'm just happier. Definitely recommend if your job allows it.

Man that lunch thing is real. Being able to actually sit down with them instead of rushing back to email is legitimately life changing. Remote work gets a lot of hate but those moments are gold.

This is the dream honestly. I'm still commuting into the office but those midday moments with the kids hit different than just packed lunches and pickups.

That's awesome you get that time back. My kids would probably prefer homemade lunch with me around over anything else anyway.
