Just took a 15% pay cut to go part-time. Here's what I'm feeling.

Made the jump last month. Went from full-time management at a tech company to 4-day weeks doing freelance consulting. Financially it's tight - we're in Denver and costs are insane - but I'm actually present for dinner most nights now. My 7yo Hannah asked me yesterday why I wasn't "tired and angry" anymore. That one sentence made the whole thing worth it. Still some days I panic about retirement savings though.
