Paternity leave ending soon and I'm dreading it

Had 8 weeks with my newborn and it went by in a flash. Going back to the office next week and I feel guilty already. My wife will be doing daycare drop offs and I'll barely see my daughter before she's in bed. Anyone else feel like they're choosing work over their kid even though they have to work? This sucks.

Eight weeks is good though. You got quality time in. Stay present when you're home and that matters more than the hours.

It's rough but you'll settle back in. The first week is the hardest. What's your childcare situation like?

Man I feel this. I'm about to go back after paternity leave too and it's hitting different this time. The newborn phase goes too fast.
