Paternity leave question - took 2 weeks and regret it

Should've fought harder for more time. Two weeks sounds like enough until you're actually in it and realize you barely got settled before heading back. Wife's still recovering, baby's schedule is all over the place, and I missed so much already being back at work. For those of you who took longer, how much time do you think is actually necessary? Thinking about asking for unpaid leave.

Two weeks is brutal, dude. I've got four kids and I can tell you those first weeks go way too fast. If you can negotiate more time for the next one, do it. You won't regret it.
