Paternity leave was the best and worst decision

Took 8 weeks off when our second was born last year. It was incredible being there, feeding the baby at 3am, taking my oldest to school in the mornings, just being present. But man, coming back to work and seeing how much I missed while settling back in... it was rough. Now I'm questioning if I even like my job that much or if I'm just doing it because I feel like I have to. My boss wants to know if I'm all in or looking elsewhere. The money is good, the work is fine, but eight weeks changed something in me. Is anyone else dealing with this weird existential thing after taking extended time off?
