Paternity leave was the best and worst thing that happened to us

Took 8 weeks after baby #2 was born and wow. Got to be super hands on with the newborn, helped my wife recover, really bonded with our son. But going back to work felt like falling off a cliff. The guilt of leaving them, missing out on everything, the chaos of trying to catch up at the office. I know some guys say they can't wait to go back but those weeks meant everything to me. Worth the adjustment though.
