Paternity leave was the best decision I ever made

Took 3 months when my youngest was born. My company seemed cool with 2 weeks but I pushed for more and they approved it. Those 3 months bonded me with my son in a way I never had with my older kids. I learned how to change diapers, read his cues, got comfortable with him. My wife was able to actually rest instead of doing everything. Money was tight but worth every penny. If you get the chance, do it. You won't regret it.

Props for pushing back on the two weeks and making it happen. That time paid dividends I bet.
