Started working from home last year and I'm not gonna lie, it's been amazing for the family. I can do school pickup, make lunch with my kids, and still hit my deadlines. My boss doesn't care when I work as long as stuff gets done. Obviously some days are chaos but I wouldn't trade it. Anyone else in this situation? How do you manage the boundaries between home and work?
Remote work changed everything for us too. Being able to take the kids on a quick hike during lunch or just be present for those little moments makes such a difference. You're doing it right.
That lunch together thing is the best part. We started doing that last year and my kids talk about it all the time. It's the simple stuff that sticks with them.
That's awesome man. I've been there and those moments at pickup are gold. My boys are always excited to see me, and honestly it makes the work part feel worth it when you get that quality time back.
