Remote work is a double edged sword
Working from home for 3 years now and I love the flexibility but some days it's hard to turn it off. My office is literally 20 feet from the living room so I find myself checking emails at 8pm or working through lunch. My wife's been dropping hints that I need better boundaries. She's right but it's tough when your boss can message you anytime. Started trying to actually close my laptop at 5 but it feels weird.
This is why I actually miss going into the office sometimes. At least there was a commute that gave me a mental break between work and dad mode. Now it all blurs together.
