Remote work is killing my work-life balance

Been remote for 2 years and I thought it would be better for family time but it's actually worse. I'm checking email at 9pm, taking calls during my kids' bedtime, and my home office has become my prison. The boundaries are completely gone. I'm either fully working or feeling guilty that I'm not. Anyone figured out how to actually separate work and home when they're in the same building?

That remote work trap is real. I've been there with three kids - the office was actually my break. What helped me was setting hard cutoff times and moving my desk away from the bedroom if possible. Sunday pancakes with the family help reset my brain for the week too.
