Remote work killing my productivity but saving my sanity
Been working from home for 2 years now and honestly it's a double edged sword. On one hand I get to see my kids before they leave for school and I'm there when they get home. On the other hand my boss seems to think remote means I'm available 24/7. Had a video call at 6:30pm last night while I was trying to help my oldest with homework. Wife was not happy. Anyone else struggling to set boundaries with their manager when you work from your house?
Bedtime negotiations are where I lose all my productivity gains anyway, so honestly remote work seems like a win in your situation.
