Remote work killing my productivity
So I've been working from home for like 8 months now and honestly it's been a mixed bag. Yeah I get to see my kids at lunch and I'm not commuting anymore which is great. But my boss keeps pinging me at like 6pm with urgent stuff and I can't seem to turn it off. My 4 year old had to literally climb on my lap during a client call yesterday. Anyone else struggling with the boundary between work space and home space? How do you guys shut it down at the end of the day?
The guilt got me the worst at first - like I should be doing laundry between meetings or helping with home stuff. Took me a while to realize I actually had to treat it like an office or nothing got done.
