Remote work saved my marriage, not even exaggerating

Been working from home for 3 years now after pushing hard for it. I get to have lunch with my kids, help with school pickup, actually be present. My boss doesn't care as long as work gets done and honestly my productivity is way up. To any dads who are thinking about asking their company - DO IT. Even just 2-3 days a week makes a massive difference. The commute time alone was killing me mentally.

This is real talk right here. Lunch with the kids hits different when you're actually home. My wife and I have had way fewer arguments since I could manage the school stuff without her carrying the load.

Man, that's huge. I pushed for remote work too and being here for pickup made all the difference with my kids. Your wife probably feels the difference in how much more you're actually present. Worth every bit of effort it took to get approved.
