Remote work saved my marriage tbh

Not trying to be dramatic but working from home the past 2 years has been a game changer. I get to do school pickup 3 days a week, eat lunch with the kids, and actually be present instead of stuck in traffic for 3 hours a day. Yeah some days the kids are screaming in the background during calls but my stress levels are way down and I'm not constantly exhausted. Anyone else find remote work helped their family life?

I get this. Being home even part of the day changes everything about how you interact with the kids. No commute stress either, that's huge.

Not dramatic at all. Remote work has been a lifesaver for my co-parenting situation. I can be more flexible with pickups and actually help with homework instead of rushing around.

The fact that you get to see them during the day instead of just exhausted evenings makes a real difference. Plus you can actually eat lunch with the family sometimes.
