Remote work saved my sanity

Been full remote for 2 years now since my son was born and I honestly don't know how I'd manage a commute. Getting to have lunch with my kids, being home when they get off the bus, even just hearing them during calls sometimes, it grounds me. My company's talking about bringing everyone back 3 days a week and I'm already dreading it. Anyone else fighting to keep remote arrangements? What's your argument been?

Two years in and you're still appreciating it, that says everything. A lot of us would trade a lot to have that kind of flexibility with our kids.

Remote work is a game changer. Being able to actually be present for lunch and those little moments is worth so much more than any commute time you'd lose.

That's the real win right there. I'm still doing the commute grind but hearing about your setup makes me jealous in the best way possible.
