Remote work saved my sanity
Started WFH last year after my second kid was born and it's been a total game changer. I can take a lunch break to help with virtual school, pop downstairs to break up a fight, and still hit my deadlines. My boss doesn't care where I work as long as I deliver. Only downside is my home office is now also my filing cabinet and laundry station.
This is huge for real. I can eat lunch with my son, help with homework after school, and still get my work done. The flexibility for kid stuff is what saves it though. Makes parenting feel less like you're juggling everything.
