Remote work saved my sanity as a dad
Been working from home for 2 years now and honestly I don't know how I'd survive commuting 45 minutes each way like I used to. Getting to eat lunch with my kids some days, being here when they get home from school, not missing stuff. Sure the line between work and home is blurry but I wouldn't trade it. Anyone else working remote and finding it way better for family life?
Remote work is a game changer. I'm not doing it but I watch my buddies with the commute and they're exhausted all the time. You're winning by being there for lunch with the kids.
