Two years ago I thought I'd never work from home but covid forced it and man what a game changer. I can do pickup from school, help with homework, and still hit my deadlines. My boss let me keep it permanent even as we went back to hybrid. The time I save not commuting goes right to my kids. If you're thinking about asking for remote work, do it. Best decision I ever made.

100% agree. I was skeptical at first too but being home has honestly made me a better parent because I'm less stressed and more available. Now I worry about what happens if we ever have to go back full time.
