Remote work saved my sanity as a dad
Been working from home for 18 months now and I'm not sure I could go back to the office full time. I get to have lunch with the kids, pick them up from school, and actually be present for dinner most nights. Yeah, the work-home boundaries get blurry sometimes but I wouldn't trade it. My career might not be on the fastest track but my mental health is so much better. Anyone else feeling this way about remote work?
Totally get it. The flexibility to pick them up and be there for those moments you'd normally miss is worth so much more than whatever you lose sitting in an office.
