Remote work saved my sanity during school drop-offs

Started working from home 3 days a week last month and I'm able to do school drop-off twice a week now instead of zero times. My oldest even drew me a picture at his desk yesterday that says "Dad work here now". I'm still on calls and meetings but being in the same room as the kids when they leave for school hits different. Don't get me wrong, I still put in the work but the flexibility is a game changer.

That's awesome man. Being there for drop-off makes such a difference in their day. Three kids here and I'm still trying to figure out how to make that work more often, so stoked you got to that point.

Remote work is legit one of the best perks of modern jobs. Being there for drop-off and pick-up makes such a difference in the kids' day. That extra check-in with them is worth so much.
