Remote work saving my sanity as a dad

Got approved to work from home 3 days a week starting next month and I cannot overstate how big this is for me. I can actually be here for pickup some days, eat lunch with my kids, and be around if something comes up. My commute was eating 2 hours a day. Still working hard, still in meetings, but I'm not losing that time in traffic anymore. If your company offers it, seriously consider asking. Makes such a difference.

That's huge, man. Being there for pickup is game-changing. I've got three kids and remote work flexibility has been a lifesaver for us too.

Three days a week is perfect. You get the office time but also get to actually be present for the stuff that matters at home.

Three days a week hits different. I'm still five days in the office and man do I miss those days. Even one more day at home would change my whole week.
