Remote work saving my sanity but killing my focus
Been working from home full time for about 8 months now and honestly it's a double edged sword. On one hand I get to have lunch with my kids and pick them up from school which is huge. On the other hand my boss seems to think I'm available 24/7 now. Got a slack at 9pm last night asking about quarterly projections. Plus the kids want my attention right when I'm in a meeting. Anyone else struggling with this? How do you set boundaries when your office is literally in your bedroom?
I've been remote for about a year now and I totally get the double edged sword thing. Some days I'm more productive because I'm not commuting and I can actually focus. Other days my kids need something every five minutes and I get nothing done. How are you managing the boundaries?
