Remote work with a 3yo is actually impossible, change my mind

I've been trying to make this work for 6 months now and I'm at my limit. My company 'allows' remote work but it's really just me pretending to work while my son destroys the house during "quiet time." Yesterday I missed an entire client call because he knocked over a full cup of juice on my laptop. Our daycare is 2 days a week which helps, but those other days? Forget about it. How is anyone actually pulling this off? Do your kids just... sit quietly? Mine certainly doesn't.
