Side hustle ruining my free time
OK so I started a dropshipping thing about 8 months ago thinking I'd make some extra cash. It's actually doing OK - maybe $1,200/month profit right now.
But guys... I'm spending 10+ hours a week on it on top of my regular job. My wife is rightfully pissed because my 'free time' that used to be spent with the family is now spent on my laptop managing inventory and customer service. My kids barely see me.
Is the extra money worth it? Probably not. Am I going to stop? Probably not because I'm stubborn lol. Anyone else dealing with this or have advice?
Drop shipping was supposed to be passive income right? That's what got me too. Ended up spending more time managing the business than I would have working an actual job. How many hours a week are you putting in now?
What kind of margins are you actually getting? Even if you quit tomorrow at least you'd know whether you learned something or just wasted time and money.
