Stress levels are through the roof right now
I love my job, don't get me wrong, but between the pressure at work, dealing with toddler tantrums at home, and my wife's new schedule it feels like I'm constantly being pulled in three directions. This week alone I've had to leave early twice for kid stuff, stayed up till midnight finishing a project, and haven't worked out in like 6 weeks because I'm too tired. I know this is temporary but man it's brutal. Anyone dealing with similar chaos? Do things eventually level out or is this just parenting in your 30s now?
This is the hard part nobody really prepares you for. Work stress bleeds into home and vice versa. Have you thought about talking to your manager about what specifically is ramping up the pressure? Sometimes just naming it helps.
