Struggling with remote work boundaries
Been working from home for 2 years now and my brain doesn't understand when work ends anymore. I'll be playing with the kids and thinking about the presentation due tomorrow. Wife finally called me out on it last week and she's right. I'm physically there but mentally at the office. Tried turning my laptop off at 5pm and going for a walk. It's only been a week but I'm sleeping better and more present at dinner. Anyone else battle this? How do you mentally clock out?
Yeah man, after two years of this pandemic stuff I get it. The second bedroom slowly became the office that's always open in your head. Maybe set a hard shutdown time and actually close the door?
